NEW! Breadboard simulation

In PCB layout mode, breadboards can now be drawn and simulated on screen using a range of built-in standard breadboard modules.

The breadboards can be found in the Breadboard Modules part of the PCB Components gallery.

To add components to a breadboard you can simply drag PCB components onto the breadboard. As you drag a component over the breadboard, the pins will be highlighted when they fit into a hole. Only when all of a component's pins fit into holes can the component be placed.

Components that cannot be placed directly on a breadboard can be connected by placing them to one side of the breadboard and then using flying wires to connect up the component's pins to the appropriate pins on the breadboard.
